Documented references, explicit limits

These collections combine provider disclosures, lifecycle studies and public data. The generator transforms some sources into derived factors. A daily rebuild does not mean all sources were refreshed.

Missing values appear as a dash and are never converted to zero. Zeros already in files are preserved; some collections use zero as a convention. Filled and carried-forward values are not individually flagged in the current series.

Electricity impact factors

Factors modeled from electricity mixes and lifecycle references. Available periods may include carried-forward or estimated values.

The ‘Renewables only’ variant (‘-green’ files) keeps bioenergy, hydro, solar and wind, then recalculates their shares to total 100%. Impact factors are calculated from this hypothetical mix. This scenario describes neither the territory’s actual mix nor a green electricity offer, and its impacts are not zero.

The mix combines generation and imports using the generator methodology. “Green” selects Bioenergy, Hydro, Solar and Wind and renormalizes their shares; it is not a contractual renewable-electricity measurement.

Cloud infrastructure

Provider disclosures differ in boundary and reporting year. Zero may represent a dataset convention rather than no impact. REF and CFE are not interchangeable metrics.

The catalog may include legacy models. The open field is not a license. estimated flags estimated fields; no per-model environmental footprint is provided.

Modeling references, not measurements of individual devices. Do not interpret a /s factor as the total embodied impact of a device.
